Crafted with care, Maisel & Friends Pale Ale is cold-hopped and fermented with top-fermenting ale yeast. The brewing process involves open primary fermentation with Amarillo, Citra, Chinook, and Simcoe hops, followed by a cold maturation phase that enhances its vibrant and fruity aroma.
This Pale Ale is all about more: more hops, more malt, and more flavour. It's fresh and fruity with pronounced notes of citrus and passion fruit, balanced by a pleasantly hoppy bitterness. The blend of five distinctive hops (Chinook, Amarillo, Simcoe, Citra, and Hercules) ensures a delicious and refreshing taste experience every time.

Brewed by the innovative Maisel's Brewery, located in the Upper Franconian city of Bayreuth, this Pale Ale is the product of a proud family tradition that dates back to 1887, when brothers Hans and Eberhardt Maisel first opened their doors. Today, the brewery continues to flourish under the guidance of its fourth-generation descendant, Jeff Maisel.
Maisel & Friends Pale Ale was honoured as the Country Winner at the 2020 World Beer Awards and took home a Bronze in the 2022 World Beer Awards. It also earned a Silver Award in the New Style Pale Ale category at the 2020 European Beer Star Awards and scored an impressive 93 points at the 2024 Finest Beer Selection.
