Maisel’s Weisse Original 5.1% 330ml (33cl) Bottles
Classic Bavarian wheat beer in handy 330ml bottles
Description
Maisel’s Weisse Original is a delightful and highly drinkable German wheat beer from the renowned Maisel’s Brewery.
Maisel’s Weisse Original is crafted from carefully selected wheat and barley malts, producing a vibrant reddish-amber beer topped with an ample foam head. Its distinctive quality comes from a secondary maturation process called 'Bayerische Edelreifung' (Bavarian Noble Maturation). This involves adding fresh yeast and brewer’s wort after primary fermentation and maturation, and forgoing pasteurisation, to create a naturally authentic German beer classic.
This combination of traditional brewing methods and modern techniques resulted in Maisel’s Weisse Original winning several prestigious awards (see ‘Did You Know?’ above) and becoming Maisel’s best-selling beer.
The 330ml bottle size offers the perfect portion for enjoying this delicious German wheat beer anytime, making Maisel’s Weisse Original a timeless favourite.
*Blue plastic Maisel’s Weiss crate not included. Bottles shipped in protective and recyclable cardboard packaging.

Did You Know?
Located in the Upper Franconian city of Bayreuth, this family-run brewery was founded in 1887 by brothers Hans and Eberhardt Maisel and is currently overseen by their fourth-generation descendant, Jeff Maisel.
In Germany, pubs and inns serving Maisel’s Weisse Original display the ‘Brewer’s Star’ in their signage, letting thirsty guests know that they’ll find wholesome beer at their establishment.
Maisel’s Weisse Original secured the title of World Champion at the 2018 World Beer Awards and was named ‘World’s Best Wheat Beer, Bavarian Hefeweiss’. In 2022, the wheat beer was awarded bronze in the same competition. It also won bronze at the Brussels Beer Challenge in 2019.
In the 1980s, more and more people began to enjoy wheat beers in Germany, which ultimately led to a new, unfiltered hefeweizen being offered alongside the crystal clear, Kristall yeast-free version. This not only fuelled the nationwide weissbier trend, but it would also become Maisel’s best-selling beer. However, it went through a few name changes, and ‘Maisel’s Hefe-Weissbier’ became ‘Maisel’s Weisse’ and is now known as ‘Maisel’s Weisse Original’
