Rothaus Alcohol Free Pils (Rothaus Pils Alkoholfrei) <0.5% 500ml (50cl) Bottles
Delicious alcohol-free German Pilsner
Description
An impressively authentic-tasting alcohol-free German beer.
Rothaus uses a unique steam under vacuum process to gently remove the alcohol from their iconic German Pilsner while preserving its signature aromas and flavours.
Rothaus Pils Alkoholfrei is crafted with exceptionally pure spring water from the Black Forest mountains, premium summer barley malt from near Lake Constance, and 'noble' hops sourced from Tettnang and Hallertau.
Widely regarded as one of the finest alcohol-free beers on the market, it's a 'must try' for German beer enthusiasts looking for a non-alcoholic alternative.
*Red plastic Rothaus crate not included. Bottles shipped in protective and recyclable cardboard packaging.
Tasting Notes
“Just like the non-alcoholic Hefeweizen; you'd never know this was a non-alcoholic beer - outstanding!” - Oliver Wesseloh (World champion beer sommelier)
Appearance: Pure-white, fine-pored head, clear bright gold colour.
Aroma: Freshly mowed wild meadow and a hint of freshly baked bread in the background. The bread becomes more intense after smelling multiple times, and acquires a thin spread of honey on top.
Flavour: The flavour delivers what the aroma promises: freshly cut hay bales in a wild meadow. The bitterness comes through first, very pleasant and subtle, followed by caramel/honey. At the very end, the bitterness pushes through a bit more. Pleasant, thin body, but not hollow.
Special aspect: Thanks to a particularly gentle dealcoholisation process with aroma recovery, Rothaus non-alcoholic Pilsner retains its full flavour. Enjoy the unadulterated, tartness of this non-alcoholic Pilsner beer.
