The original Bavarian dark wheat beer

Description

Maisel's Weisse Dunkel is a classic Bavarian dark wheat beer, expertly brewed by the esteemed Maisel’s Brewery in Bayreuth, Upper Franconia. Founded in 1887 by brothers Hans and Eberhardt Maisel, this family-run brewery is now proudly led by fourth-generation brewer Jeff Maisel.

Crafted with a carefully selected blend of wheat malt and gently roasted caramelised specialty malts, Maisel's Weisse Dunkel boasts a rich black-red mahogany hue and a complex spectrum of flavours. Its aroma is marked by a malty-spicy character, harmoniously complemented by the slightly fruity notes typical of German wheat beers. Each sip reveals a delicately bitter, full-bodied, and spicy taste, featuring an array of malt aromas.

The flavour journey continues with subtle hints of fruit and clove, culminating in a full-bodied yet highly drinkable experience that you can only get from Maisel’s Weisse Dunkel. Brewed with time-honoured traditions, Maisel’s Weisse Dunkel is the definitive top-fermented Bavarian dark yeast wheat beer.

Maisel’s Weisse Dunkel: malty, spicy, and chocolaty with authentic German wheat beer notes - simply delicious!
