“Cloves, honey, ripe peaches, and juicy oranges - and just a touch of pepper. Great, and a real pleasure to drink.” - Oliver Wesseloh (World champion beer sommelier)
Appearance: Fine-pored, white head, beautiful rich gold, nice thick cloudiness.
Aroma: Cloves, honey, ripe peaches and juicy oranges, a hint of pepper.
Flavour: The cloves intensify even further in the first sip. This is followed by a sweet fruit basket and a bit of cake. The effervescence is integrated well into the body. The body makes its presence known through subtle honey notes, but never becomes overwhelming. Toward the end, it tapers off with sweet fruits, of which the orange echoes the longest. Very nice wheat beer that features a fantastic fruitiness that is never overwhelming. Due to its comparably lean body for a wheat beer, it is incredibly easy to drink.
Special aspect: The effervescence of this specialty beer is enticing – as are its distinctive fruit notes. is true-blue Hefeweizen impresses the drinker, like all Rothaus beers, with the best ingredients and an extraordinary flavour – have you tried it yet?
